PROGRAM INFORMATION:
Race Opens at any 2009 NBL National to qualify for the UGP Open Championship. Prizes at all Elite Series races.
The UGP Open Series is back for another exciting, prize-filled season and there’s even more sweet stuff to win this year. UGP Open Classes are offered at all 2009 NBL National races and if you race one at any Elite Series event, you have the chance to win sweet UGP stuff. Check it out!
HOW TO QUALIFY FOR THE UGP OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP:
• Make any THREE Open Mains at any Big-A or Elite Series National and you qualify to race the UGP Open Championship.
• Make any SIX Open Mains at any Big-A or Elite Series National and you get FREE ENTRY into the UGP Open Championship. That’s right, we’ve got you covered. (Exception: 16-29 not included since it is a money payout class)
OPEN CLASSES: 7 & Under, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-29, 30 & Over
Open to all proficiencies, male and female.
OPEN CLASS PRIZES & AWARDS – OVER $4,000 THIS YEAR!
At Elite Series National Events:
• 1st place wins a UGP Product
• Random Prizes for all Open registered riders
• 2nd – 8th NBL Bucks
At Big-A National Events:
• 1st – 8th NBL Bucks
CHRISTMAS CLASSIC LAUNCH
The program will officially launch at the NBL Christmas Classic in Lexington, VA, December 28-29. All Open class* winners will win UGP Products. *Except 16-29 Money Opens
ENTRY FEES:
$25 for all classes except 16-29 Open
16-29 Open Class:
• $25 at Big-A races / no money payout
• $45 at Elite Series races / $500 money payout for 10 or more
• 5 riders to make a class
2009 UGP OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP - Held in conjunction with the 2009 NBL Grand National. Dates and times TBA.
All Open Class Winners: UGP Backpack full of UGP stuff - Value $350
2nd place: UGP Shoes and sticker packs - Value $75
3-8th: UGP Products and sticker pack - Value $25
Q & A:
Already race an Open or two? If you have raced an open class at any 2009 National, they will automatically be counted.
No main in your Open class? If the class does not go to a main, it counts as a credit to your qualifications.
