Damian Cherepko – OTC and Fresno

Well, the trip started out with me heading to Chula Vista and the OTC for the Jr. Devo. camp for a week of training.  After OTC, I headed back up to San Diego to get ready for the NBL All American National in Fresno. When I got there on Friday, I looked at the track and was pretty stoked to shred it. When practice came around, I felt on point with my riding and was ready to race that weekend.

That next morning I got to the track and was ready to race.  When I checked my motos I was pretty stoked to see that Blake Paulson was in on the gate with me. The first moto I felt really good on my bike and ended up winning. Then came the second round and Blake and I into the first corner and I ended up getting stuck to the outside.  I went to pass in the second turn and ended up falling on my elbow and bruising it…I was not stoked for that at all. It was all good as I ended winning the third round and the main.

Sunday came around and repeated with winning the main again.  After the race, I headed out and shredded some trails with Bittner and the SE crew.

Hanging in Cali the rest of the week to hit up Bakersfield and do work in the ABA.
