What is your local track and how often do you ride there? JAX BMX, 2-3 times a week
How long have you been racing? Four years
What got you interested in BMX in the beginning? My dad took me to a BMX race and I was hooked.
What about the sport has kept you interested and made you want to continue? It’s always a challenge, and I get to meet lots of new friends.
On the track, what parts of racing have come naturally so far and what parts do you think you need the most work on? Gates and first straight pull came naturally. I have to work on jumps.
What challenges have you encountered so far in your racing and how did you overcome them? Moving up to Expert two years ago was tough. I had to train hard and stay positive.
What are your accomplishments so far in BMX? Winning National #5 in 10X and jumping the triple at High Springs was pretty sweet.
Have you tried to bring your friends out to the track? What did they think? Yes, they thought it was pretty cool.
Do you play any other sports? If not, what do you do when you’re not riding? No, not really. I like to go fishing, shooting at the range, play my guitar and play Xbox when I’m not on my bike.
Who are some people you look up to and why? My dad, Mr. Terry Lynch, Ashley Lynch, Mr. Denny Simson, Cody Simson and Ronald Vega because that’s my travel crew and they keep me on track.
What’s hanging on your bedroom wall? Some race plates, plaques, trophies, BMX poster and my Hooters calendar.
What is the best advice you’ve received since you started racing? Stay positive, never give up and don’t stop pedaling until you cross the finish line.
Is there anything specific you try to eat before or during the weekend of a race? Pasta, fruit and Clif Bars.
If I gave you $100 right now, what would you go buy with it? Nothing, I’d save it.
What is something you’ve done that you’d never want to do again? Loop out and ride the Bomb Bay at Wet & Wild, lol!
What are your short-term and long-term goals in BMX? Short-term would have to be to win the Grands and National #1. Long-term would have to be the Olympics.
Who would you like to thank? My mom and dad, my sister, my grandpa and MiMi and all of my BMX family and of course Team Cycle Craft for believing in me!
