NBL JOINS DISNEY’S GIVE A DAY, GET A DISNEY DAY PROGRAM

Volunteer at a race, get a free day at a Disney theme park

HILLIARD, OH (Jan. 5, 2010) — The National Bicycle League has been approved to be a partner in Disney’s Give A Day, Get A Disney Day program. As a result, persons who wish to volunteer one day at a pre-approved NBL National or Regional event can receive a free day’s admission to a Disney theme park.

Disney wants to inspire one million people to volunteer a day of service to a participating organization in their communities. Disney is celebrating these volunteers’ good works by giving each of them a 1-day, 1-theme park ticket to the Disneyland® Resort or Walt Disney World® Resort, free. There’s no better time to make a dream come true for others and let Disney make a few come true for you.

To participate in the program, you must visit the Disney website (disneyparks.disney.go.com) and sign-up for the event during which you are interested in volunteering. Requests must be made at least two weeks before the event date. Ticket quantities for this program are limited. One ticket per person, regardless of the number or hours of volunteer service completed. The program begins January 1, 2010 and continues until tickets are distributed or December 15, 2010, whichever occurs first. For a full list of terms and conditions, please visit the above website.
