Peachtree City BMX Uses Track Cash Back Program
In response to the NBL’s recently launched Track Cash Back program, Peachtree City BMX ran the ad below in their local newspapers at a cost of $400. Track Director Shayne Robinson explains below the success they had. By signing up 13 new riders, they recouped almost all of their costs for the ad in just one day with the Track Cash Back program.
From Shayne-
It was a freezing cold day, 45 degree weather, wind chill 35 degrees. Georgia had yet again experienced four inches of rain two days prior, and our track was still thawing out from the snow! PTCBMX Parents Association ran “sign up” ads in the two county newspapers for two weeks prior to opening day. We had also put up signs in local bike stores and shops and quietly put them on the main road. Our rider manual was also proudly displayed in all Recreation Departments throughout the city. Well, wouldn’t you know it, we had 110 riders show up to race, 31 motos, two mains. Riders came from Tennessee and Alabama to race. We signed on 13 new riders! A record for us in one day. Our phone is still ringing off the hook with riders coming out this weekend, weather permitting. A special thanks to all our volunteers who pulled together to make this happen. For the record, we sold 220 cups of hot chocolate!
