National Series
National Series
The 2010 NBL National Series will include all National and Regional races between the dates of September 20, 2009 and August 31, 2010. National standings are listed by the age you will be the day of the Grands 2010.
All National and Regional races are single national points. The 2009 & 2010 NBL Regional Championship races and the 2009 U.S. Open Invitational race are considered Regional races for single points. It takes any 6 National Series races (Nationals or Regionals) to be qualified to earn a numberplate at the 2010 NBL Grand National. To calculate your National points, the best 6 scores are used (only 2 of these scores may be Regional scores) plus the 2010 NBL Grand National. The Grand National is also single points. Your points will not be listed in the standings if your license is expired (”E” instead of points), if we never received a copy of your birth certificate (”B”), or if your NBL membership application was not signed (”S”). Race the National Series and test your skills against the best riders in the country!
National Series races are OPEN to all riders with a valid NBL Race License.

Elite Series
Elite Championship Level Racing (Elite: 19+, Masters: 30+)
The NBL offers a lucrative level of racing for riders who are eligible to race in the Championship Categories; Elite Men, Elite Women, and Masters classes. The NBL also offers a Super-Ex class to help season up-and-coming Elite riders. With generous prize money payouts and high levels of exposure, the NBL Elite Series is very competitive and many of America’s top riders have gone on to compete successfully on the International level.
To qualify for a year-end plate and award, an Elite Men, Elite Women, Masters or Super-Ex rider must race at least eight (8) Elite Series races, plus the NBL Grands. The best eight (8) scores, plus the NBL Grands will count toward the year-end ranking. Masters and Super-Ex riders may also use Big-A Plus races to qualify.
